What are "S" No Sag Springs?

Springs

S" No Sag Springs are springs that are typically found in sofas. They are also known as "no sag springs", "zig-zag springs", "S coils", or "sinuous S springs." They are long pieces of heavy gauge steel wire that weave back and forth in an even S shape. Rows of these springs are evenly spaced and then attached from the back to front of the frames to provide reinforcement to the frame while distributing weight and provide support to the sitter.
