What is the purpose of glue in frame construction?

Aside from the nails and screws, glue is what keeps furniture together. Since ancient times, glue has been used to assemble furniture, and has lasted for generations. Glue is generally used at the joints of the furniture construction. Once bonded, the joints act as a solid piece. Here at the Sofa Company, we not only glue the furniture piece together, we also use nails and screws to ensure the quality and longevity of our products.
