In May - 2009, The Sofa Company will open it's third Los Angeles County furniture store in the heart of downtown Los Angeles in the Pico Union area of the city. This area is part of the Los Angeles downtown expansion project and is half a mile from the Los Angeles convention center and the Staples Center. There are many things to do downtown Los Angeles and now shopping at TSC and ask any of our design consultants for help arranging furniture in a loft living environment.

It's amazing to us that the center of the metropolitan area of Los Angeles has not become more of a hub for shopping until recent years and we are excited to have opened one of the first large retail showrooms in the area. Hopefully within the next 5-10 years more and more commuters will get tired of simply logging the hours on the freeway and move so they can virtually be minutes away from most of the major arts institutions, design schools, sports facilities and now shopping districts. Famously, Los Angeles has 76 cities but was in search of a true downtown environment. Finally, it's coming and The Sofa Company is proud to be its newest neighbor!
