This is my second order with Sofa Co. and it was enjoyable again. I am big on customer service and you guys are great. You offer help, suggestions etc. but are NOT pushy or "salepeople-y" (you get the idea). I enjoy my shopping experience and spending my money with you.

This was a great experience! I was able to customize everything from the fabric, legs, cushions and even size to meet my needs. And, it was less expensive than if I'd purchased a prefabricated sofa from other places. I would highly recommend you to anyone in the market for a new sofa!

We absolutely love our couch! It is so beautiful and comfortable.On the downside we've become very lazy and have lost all desire to get up off the couch to do anything else ;) When we first ordered it we were disappointed that the fabric we chose was going to be backordered till April. But were pleasantly surprised whee it arrived earlier in February! Either way, well worth the wait!

Really a great experience. Dani is knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and never pushy. I have to say I looked for about 6-8 weeks at every store from low-end to high-end custom made. I started at the Sofa Company because it is in my neighborhood. I went back 2 times during the time I was shoping other stores. Their selection is great, fabric choices are good and they will make your Sofa to any specs you want. For me it was hard to choose. I am real happy with the results, it's real comfortable and looks great. Thanks.

We felt very confident that the couch would fit through our doorway after the store manager took the time to come over, measure, and then put in writing that it would fit, and if it didn't, we would not be required to buy it! Also, both Kara and Dani were very helpful and wonderful to work with. I would not hesitate to buy another couch from them. The Sofa Company is a really fun place to shop--the staff are all friendly and up beat and the environment is pleasant. I would strongly recommend that anyone interested in a sofa go to the store a couple of times before settling on something and BE SURE to take measurements and take a fabric swatch home (the staff is very helpful and will support you're taking your time and do what ever they can to help you to feel good about your decision.) In part my advise is based on my own errors, I picked a couch that was too large for my home and the Sofa Company staff was very helpful in arranging to take it back and helping me to pick out another couch of my choosing. My only complaint really was that when the second couch arrived the fabric on the bottom was ripped and when I pointed it out to the delivery person, he said no problem, ran to the truck to get a glue gun and patched it, which was fine--it was on the bottom and out of sight--yet for me new is new, not repaired. That was a little disappointing.

I had a very positive experience with The Sofaco. Friendly, knowledgeable sales staff and a big showroom to visualize many different options. It was fun to have so much customization to create exactly what you're looking for, and the endless options were manageable due to the helpfullness of the salespeople. I'm very happy with my sofa, and would definitely recommend it to a friend. Only thing was that it took a bit longer than expected to receive it, but not the end of the world.

The process of selecting our sofa style and customizing it was really easy given the large showroom where we could see and test all the options. I wish more stores could be this way! We got excellent service and advice from our salesperson who grasped what we were looking for and gave us many suggestions to achieve the look at the price we wanted. It is impressive how many styles and fabrics there are to choose from and we were able to create a piece that fit into our limited space by downsizing a sofa we saw in the showroom. Also, we were able to pick from many fabrics at different price points and we are 100% satisfied.
Our salesperson, Diana Sin, clearly has a trained eye and was beyond helpful and courteous. We are so comfortable in our new sectional and it is a showpiece in our home.

The delivery team was incredible, actually arrived a few minutes early, freeing up the rest of my day. They were careful of my other furnishings and assembled the couch quickly... in and out.
We love the couch and sectional lounge. In fact, the lounge is so popular with the rest of the family, that I didn't get a chance until later that evening, (It's supposed to be my spot)and it is so, so comfortable.

Purchased 2 sofas on May 2, completion date "5 to 7 weeks." First call to Sofa Company not returned. I called back. Was told "repair necessary."
Second call not returned. I called back. "Production backed up, too many orders." Sofas delivered July 18. I was not so concerned with the delay as I was with my calls not being returned and being given inconsistent information.
One couch delivered with stain on it. Will have to deal with that.
All that being said, overall, we were very happy with the help, the selection and the finished product. We will recommend your company to friends and we have introduced our interior designer to your store.

I spent weeks looking for a loveseat at furniture warehouses, on line, in the ads, on Craigs List. I couldn't find the blue I was looking for and I couldn't find a loveseat that "Fit" my short torso/legs. I almost didn't come to the Sofastore which a girlfriend of mine discovered, simply because I was tired of looking and figured a custom store would be way outside my price range. I was very very pleasantly surprised. With the selection, the sales, but most of all with the free adjustment to size the loveseat down to my size.
I already have praised you to everyone I meet and hope someday a reference or two of mine will need a sofa and give you the business you so richly deserve.

Kara from Santa Monica did a great job helping us purchase a sofa-sectional. Great customer service that goes a long way to build quality, long-term customer relationships. There are many things to consider when designing a sofa, but she helped us break down the decisions one at a time. There was so much time saved by going to the sofa co to get exactly what we were looking for, instead of settling to for what other stores had on their showroom floor. A great experience, I would definitely recommend the sofa co to friends and family. You might consider giving your customers a 'worksheet' or 'checklist' with examples of all the features & prices that need to be decided upon...i.e. sofa design, type, fabric, piping, pillows, cushions, size, etc...Kinda like your website 'builder' tool. The Stand, a hotdog restaurant in Encino does this. This might provide some structure for customers that feel they have trouble deciding what they want. Just a thought...Great experience and we will be back again!

Hannah and the other woman at the store were extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. The air pump was not delivered with the bed, so I called customer service, and Michael was very nice and said he will FedEx the air pump to me.

Everything about the process was great except for the wait time. Kara was fantastic and very helpful in helping us find exactly what we wanted. It has been 10 months since the sofa was delivered and it is great and the quality is awesome! And, it was pretty fun to desing your own sofa!
Unfortunately, after we placed our order, we found out the fabric was backordered and it took four months for the sofa to arrive when we were originally quoted only a few weeks. Although we understand that it was out of the control of The Sofa Co., it was really upsetting. Everyone at The Sofa Co. was really helpful in terms of offering updates about the delivery date, however I will likely not order a custom piece again knowing that there is a possibility this could happen. It's just not worth it.

The girl who served me was excellent and the standard of service in the store was brilliant. They offered me a loaner sofa which again was brilliant as i had no sofa. Only downside to the experience was that the legs i had chosen for the sofa and i had the choice of waiting an extra 2 months or chosing a base i did not want.

I think saying delivery is between 6-9 am is a bit early. Why not make it more realistic and say between 7-9--unless the delivery person is actually at someone's home at 6 am.

I had a very easy time through the whole purchase process with you guys. Delivery was ahead of schedule, and the couch came as I expected. Emily, our sales rep, has a great eye. She was a big help in making design decisions.
If there's one negative thing I could say, it would be that it's not the most comfortable thing in the world to sit on. Granted it has a sofa bed inside, so there isn't as much seating support as there would otherwise be, but beyond that, the couch feels like it leans slightly forward. If there's anything that can be done to address that, please let me know.

This was a good experience. We were dealt with professionally. Hannah was excellent. Now, the only recommendation I have is that your warehouse workers and drivers join a union. The United Steelworkers represents mattress workers all over the Los Angeles area, so that would be a good fit. Having a unionized workforce actually helps the employer as well, because employees and employer have a professional representative to help rationalize the pay and benefit structure, resolve employee complaints and disciplinary issues and promote employee morale. And despite the myths you hear, a good union won't insist on terms that would make the employer uncompetitive.
Finally, a union could help promote your product to the tens of thousands of union members in the Los Angeles area.
I will continue to speak out to promote the Sofa Co. anyway, with my friends. The sales and delivery people were great!

The greatest selling point was having a great salesperson (Victoria Vascelli) that did not pressure us into a purchase. We are quite happy with our new sofa that was exactly as to our specifications. Most of all, there is no chemical or processing odor as with other manufactured sofas.

Overall a good experience with our order. Victoria our sales rep at the Pasadena store was very helpful, professional and pleasant to work with. The only negative comment I have is just 3 days before our order was supposed to deliver - customer service gave us a "maybe" it will be delivered - it should be clear whether or not the order would be completed in that timeframe. We had to sell our other sofa and work around the delivery - so an accurate date would have been very helpful.

I purchased the Clyde Table Ottoman to use in my bedroom. The ottoman arrived on time but was a little too big for the bedroom. However, it is a perfect fit for the living room with my leather furniture. My son loves the shelf for his toys. The ottoman is well made and will withstand years of use (and abuse). The customer service is unmatched! Karin is absolutely fabulous! She emailed pictures of the ottoman since it was the last one. Based on the photos, I purchased the ottoman. I will continue to shop with the Sofa Company based on both quality of products and customer service. I highly recommend this company!

In our search for a new sectional couch, we drove all over LA, and definitely had some trouble finding the right price/style/color/comfort combination we were looking for. Finally we found the Sofa Company, and our search came to an end!
The Sofa Company has such a great system because for the price (or less) of any other new couch, you get to choose style, color, fabric, cushion type, and leg style. We got to choose exactly what we wanted and came in under budget. Once you've put in your order, you couch is custum built and delivered to your house within 2 weeks. Our new couch was delivered this morning (on the earlier side of their time frame--amazing), and I'm sitting happily on it now. So comfortable and so attractive.
Our experience at the store was great as well because we were given individual attention from a design consultant. Victoria was very honest and patient with us as we made our decisions. She even has her own sofa company sofa, so she was able to give us first-hand knowledge of what the couch would be like over the long-haul.
On top of everything else, we were able to get a lifetime warranty and special teflon coating on the fabric (with warranty as well) for not much more than the base price of the couch.
Basically, we felt that the Sofa Company provided us with the most easy and pleasureable sofa-buying experience we could have hoped for. Why trek around from sofa showroom to showroom searching for that perfect couch that fits all your criteria but is also affordable, when you could just walk into one store and find everything you're looking for at a decent price? You shouldn't! Just go to the sofa company and all your wants will be fulfilled! Unless you want some super-unique designer sofa with all sorts of bells and whistles... but if you just want a basic, beautiful, comfortable sofa made to your specifications, this is the place!

I purchased a leather chair on clearance without seeing it in person. The woman who helped me via phone was awesome! Initially, she looked for the item on the floor, inspected it making sure it had no tears or stains and called me back within 30 minutes. Based on her description (just dusty), I purchased the chair via phone. The chair was delivered during the scheduled time (9-12), I received the chair at 9:30 AM today. The chair was perfect. No flaws, just a little dusty as she stated.

I loved the entire experience. I thought all of your designs were great, and it made shopping for a couch a fun and easy experience. The one hold up was that you ran out of material and it delayed my delivery time, but besides that everything was amazing.

We received very helpful service when we went in to pick out furniture. The delivery of our sofa was delayed because the material was out of stock, which was a little disappointing. But the final products look good. The delivery men were good; however, they did accidentally nick up our doorframe while removing the sofa. I wasn't sure if they reported that. They had mentioned that you all have someone who makes repairs, if I understood him correctly.

I found TSC on the web after being frustrated by shopping around dozens of furniture stores without success. I was "on guard" to be dissapointed when I entered your S.M. store and greeted by a very young and pretty sales person, thinking I wouldn't get any straight answers. Boy was I wrong! Kara knew her stuff. There wasn't one question she couldn't handle with authority and patience. We bought two sofas on the spot. I'll never shop anywhere else for my seating needs. I am mostly happy with my choice except that the seats are a lot stiffer than I expected. Can I have the cushions changed at a reasonable cost?

Workmanship on the sofa was slightly disappointing as better matching of the fabric pattern would have been optimal. That said, I love the sofa and the service and communication were top-notch.
