STORY

In 1998, three college friends started The Sofa Company to finally make the process of purchasing a sofa - fun, fast, and simple. Along with the motto "you design it, we build it" came the promise to continue to innovate the selections available and make the process of buying a sofa enjoyable for residents throughout Los Angeles. With 4 large showroom in Santa Monica, Pasadena, Downtown Los Angeles, and Redondo Beach - and a factory clearance center in Commerce, we now can say quite confidently that we have the largest selection of styles, sizes, fabrics, legs, sofabeds in the city.

1-2-3 PROCESS In our new, easy 1-2-3 process, you ....
	1. STYLE IT! - choose your favorite style and configuration. We custom build every sofa, so you choose the design you like and tell us the size/shape your room wants, and we start building and upholstering...why fit a square into a round peg because that's the only option you have. You make the size options at The Sofa Company.
	2. COVER IT! - mix and match fabrics to complement your sofa design. The absolute best way to select your perfect fabric combination is to visit our fabric library in one of our showrooms. With literally thousands of patterns and textures, we have something for every taste and every budget.
	3. ACCESSORIZE! - modify your sofa with a selection of sofabeds, pillows, legs, and more. Browsing the website, you will get a sense for what you can add to your sofa design. Change up the pillows and cushions, detail the stitching arrangement, sit the sofa on some hot, stylish legs, add a sofabed...you tell us what you want the sofa for and we will customize it to fit your lifestyle.
	MADE IN CALIFORNIA As you see throughout the site, we are quite proud of the fact that we produce our sofa line in the good ole USA and more specifically, Los Angeles, CA. While most of our competition has ventured abroad for cheaper price points and labor, we take pride that we continue to operate a locally run factory that supports our economy and country. Not only is this unique in today's day and age, this also allows us to watch over every single sofa that gets delivered. We understand our success so far has been due to our level of personal service and attention and will continue to produce your products in your neighborhood.
